Winter 3s(Arundel) and Winter 4s (topsham)

Gameplay

• 3 players on field per team
• SHORT STICKS ONLY
• Maximum 10 per team
• Games to 5 or 20 min game, reset & switch sides.
• After goal is scored, the other team starts with the ball. 
• Only can sub once someone has reached the bench- cannot leave early on fast breaks or ball will be awarded to opposing team
• Goalies will be equip with box gear. 
• Goals will be 4x4 box goals. 
• No penalties- ball will be awarded to opposing team when a “penalty” occurs.
• You can leave your feet to score and land in the crease as long as the ball breaks the goal line before landing
• If there is a missed shot- the ball is fair play to push and fight for GB. If the ball goes out of bounds- it will go to the team that has position & is closest at that time

Contact

• No boarding- hitting in the back into the wall is strictly forbidden. If it happens once, you will receive a warning. On your second offense, you will be removed from the game
• Pick play is fair game. Box picks with moving picks is allowed and encouraged. 
• Cross checks on defense is allowed to the shoulder and body region. 
• Free hand is able to be used on defense
• If you drop your stick during play, you are able to continue without & use your hands on defense. Play will not stop!

Divisions

• Premier league is our invite only league. Comprised of 4 teams hand picked of players around the state. This division is built to be the most competitive division with the highest level of play. (Should you miss registration OR sign ups, you can sign up for the champions league and be pulled into this league after playing week 1) 
• Champions league- This is an open sign up league. Open to players of all ages and talent & will be both a development and competitive league. This league will have 4 teams, playing weekly right before the premier league
• League One- this is our MS division. Same rules as the big guys, just for the middle schoolers. Two teams will be made for this division. Come out and expand your style of play
