Maine Mussels Lacrosse Club

Players will be broken up by position.  Goalies will attend both sessions if they prefer.  This program will focus more on individual play and positions instead of full team concepts.  Learn what it takes to be an attackman, defenseman, midfielder and goalie

Players will be put into 5v5 teams for games with the focus being stick skills and transition.  Teams who win the middle of the field, win the game!  Get ready for reps, running and thinking quickly with pressure

This is a skilled based program for our players in kindergarten through 5th grade (some 5th graders could be pushed up to Junior Academy based on experience).  Learn the game of lacrosse and have fun doing it!  We will focus on throwing, catching, scooping and cradling.  And shots on goal, of course!

Junior Academy is for players in 6th (maybe 5th) through 8th grade.  This program is designed for players who are interested in Club Travel but are not ready for the commitment. Players registered for this program will practice alongside the Middle School Travel Team, work with our travel coaches, meet the kids in our travel program of the same age, learn the offensive and defensive concepts of our travel teams but stay in Maine all summer!

This program is for players in 6th - 12th grade.  Practice and play with athletes and coaches from all over the state of Maine.  Our travel program has 52 town and school programs represented on them; from Hampden to York to NH.  Playing against teams outside of Maine is a great experience and provides a huge learning curve.  Our focus is on player development and college recruitment (for our Junior and Senior classes)

FUN AND CREATIVITY ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED WITH THIS PROGRAM.

This program gives the boys a chance to just play.  Athletes learn a lot about themselves when they get to try new things without so much structure (we will have rules and coaching!)
